India undertakes PM-KISAN database clean-up: Here is how to check your name on beneficiary list

The Central government has recently undertaken a massive clean-up of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) Yojana database to remove the ineligible beneficiaries. This review of the database was initiated in early 2022 and it has resulted in the elimination of 1.72 crore PM-KISAN beneficiaries.

In view of the PM-KISAN clean-up drive, the registered farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana need to check if they are still eligible to receive the benefits. The farmers can check the same by visiting the official website at pmkisan.gov.in.

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is an initiative by the Government of India that helps farmers by providing them with financial support. PM Modi launched the PM-KISAN scheme on February 24, 2019, in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. As per the scheme, all the small and marginal farmers are provided with an income support of Rs 6,000 per year in three instalments. This money is deposited directly to the farmers’ bank accounts, with Rs 2,000 in each quarter.

On July 27, 2023, PM Modi released the 14th instalment of the PM- KISAN scheme. The next instalment of the scheme is likely to be released on Diwali.

Click on the ‘Farmers Corner’ link on the homepage.

Click on the ‘Beneficiary List’ link and you will be redirected to another webpage.

Select your State, District, Sub-district, Block and Village, and then click on the ‘Get Report’ button.

The Beneficiary List of PM-KISAN will be available, check your status if you have been shortlisted on the list to avail the benefits of the scheme. If the name does not appear on the list, then you can also check the status of the e-KYC. In case of incomplete e-KYC, the farmer will not be able to get the upcoming instalment which is going to be released soon.
