Shares of Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Ltd gained 4% on Friday after the company announced receiving an order worth ₹103.5 crore from HSIIDC, Haryana, for construction work. The order pertains to the construction of a water treatment plant with a capacity of 57 megaliters per day (MLD).
The company will also look after the management, operation and maintenance of the plant for 10 years at Kharkhoda in Haryana's Sonipat District, Vishnu Prakash R Punglia said in a filing to the stock exchanges.
The project will be carried out in an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode, the company said.
The infrastructure developer informed the bourses that a Letter of Acceptance has been obtained from the Office of Assistant General Manager, Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (HSIIDC), Kharkhoda.
After submitting the tender on June 12, Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Ltd has been chosen as the contractor for this project. The tender, assessed and approved by the competent authority, is valued at ₹103.51 crore.
"We look forward to collaborating closely with HSIIDC, Haryana and stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the project," the company said.
The order involves constructing a 12-meter-wide Foot Over Bridge (FOB) at Barmer, Degana, Merta Road, Balotra, Nokha, Ram Devra, Jalor, Sujangarh, Didwana, Nagaur, Gotan, Ren, Marwar Bhinmal, and Phalodi stations spanning over the Indian Railways tracks.
In December, Vishnu Prakash R Punglia secured a Letter of Award from the Uttarakhand government for projects totaling ₹899 crore. These projects focus on improving water supply systems in Uttarakhand.
Shares of Vishnu Prakash R Punglia settled 3.26% higher at ₹160 apiece on BSE at close.
