| The country's largest software exporter on Wednesday reported an 8.7% year-on-year increase in its September quarter net profit to ₹11,342 crore. The company also announced a Rs 17,000-crore share buyback on top of committing a nearly Rs 3,300-crore dividend payout. Its revenue increased 7.9% YoY in the September quarter to ₹59,692 crore but was up only marginally compared to ₹59,381 crore in the preceding June quarter.
Infosys: The tech giant will report its earnings for the July to September quarter later in the day.
HCL Tech: The firm is due to report its results for the second quarter of the fiscal on October 12, post market hours.
Adani Enterprises | The company said it has successfully secured ₹700 crore in funding through a strategic move of allotting 70,000 secured, unrated, unlisted, redeemable, non-convertible debentures (NCDs). The NCDs, each with a face value of ₹1,00,000, were issued on a private placement basis, the firm said.
Aster DM | Private equity firm BPEA EQT and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board are among the firms considering a deal to acquire Aster DM Healthcare's assets including its India business. BPEA EQT and OTPP have expressed preliminary interest in the hospital operator’s business in the South Asian nation.
Delta Corp | Mumbai-based casino and gaming company reported a 1.6% year-on-year jump in net profit at ₹69.4 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2023. Its revenue from operations stood at ₹270.6 crore during the period under review, up 0.2% against ₹270 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.
IndusInd Bank | The private lender said that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has allowed SBI Mutual Fund to acquire 9.99% of paid-up share capital of the bank. The fund house was advised by RBI to acquire the major shareholding in the bank by October 10, 2024, according to a stock exchange filing.
Cipla | The drug major said that its wholly-owned subsidiary InvaGen Pharmaceuticals Inc has received the Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA). The report comes after the recent inspection of its manufacturing facility in Central Islip, Long Island, New York, USA by the US FDA.
Shakti Pumps | The water pump company said it will make an investment of ₹114 crore in its wholly-owned electric vehicle subsidiary Shakti EV Mobility Private Ltd. Last year, Shakti Pumps announced an investment of ₹1 crore in its wholly-owned electric vehicle subsidiary, Shakti EV Mobility.
Medplus Health Services | Pharmacy retail chain said the company's board has approved fund raising of up to ₹1,200 crore via non-convertible debentures (NCDs) and warrants.
