State-owned NBCC India Ltd on Tuesday announced that the company has bagged multiple work orders worth nearly ₹138.95 crore for construction projects in Jharkhand and Delhi.
In a stock exchange filing, the company said it has been awarded a total of five work orders in Jharkhand and Delhi. Four of the five orders have been awarded by one client — Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has selected NBCC to construct the Phase-B for JNV Palamu-II in Jharkhand, with the nature of the contract being ‘Project Management Consultancy’ on a deposit work basis, the company informed the bourses.
While the time period for the completion of the project has not been decided yet, the size of the project is broadly estimated at an approximate ₹10 crore.
The second project awarded by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti is a domestic contract for the construction of Phase-A and Phase-B for JNV East Delhi in Delhi. The cost of the project is broadly estimated at ₹42.2 crore.
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has offered two more similar projects to NBCC for the construction of Phase-A and Phase-B works for JNV Shahdara and JNV Narela, in Delhi. The contract will be executed as ‘Project Management Consultancy’ on a deposit work basis. The estimated cost of the two projects is nearly ₹42.2 crore each.
NBCC received the fifth order from the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India for the renovation work of an additional office space on the 7th floor of Mayur Bhawan in New Delhi, for an estimate cost of ₹2.35 crore.
The stock was down 2.72% at ₹89.25 apiece at 1.30pm on Tuesday, January 16.
