J Kumar Infraprojects Ltd on Monday, March 18, said it has been awarded an order worth ₹334.25 crore from NBCC (India) Limited in Delhi.
The company has received a letter of award (LoA) from NBCC (India) Ltd for the development of Hari Nagar depot of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) in New Delhi on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis, it said in a stock exchange filing. The total contract value of the order was ₹334.25 crore.
As per a notification from the Centre, the aforementioned contract price of ₹334.25 crore will be adjusted in case there is any increase or decrease in the rates of GST on works contract, the company said.
The time period set for the execution of the project awarded by NBCC stands at 24 months, J Kumar Infraprojects said.
Recently, CNBC-TV18 reported that J Kumar Infraprojects was looking at growing its revenue by 16-17% in the next financial year 2025, which is higher than the company’s previous guidance of 15%. According to the Mumbai-based company’s managing director, Nalin Gupta, the growth projections are backed by a healthy order book. The orders are expected to be around ₹19,000 crore in FY24, with an order inflow of around ₹7,000-8,000 crore next year.
Gupta is confident the company is well on track to achieve its billion-dollar revenue target by financial year 2027, and that the earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation margins is likely to remain around 14-15%.
Shares of J Kumar Infra were trading 1.96% lower at ₹585.35 apiece on BSE at 12:59 pm.
