Oil falls on demand concerns, greater supply

Oil prices fell in early Asian trade on Thursday as traders anticipated more supply of crude entering the market coupled with weaker demand.
Brent crude futures fell by 53 cents, or 0.5 percent, to $96.87 a barrel by 00:05 GMT, while US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell 61 cents, or 0.7 percent, to $91.32.
US crude oil stocks rose by 5.5 million barrels in the most recent week, the US Energy Information Administration said, more than the expected increase of 73,000 barrels.
