Gautam Adani-owned Adani Enterprises has emerged as the best all-round wealth creator for the second time in a row as per Motilal Oswal Financial Services’ annual wealth creation study.
Shares of Adani Enterprises clocked a 78% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) to emerge as the best all-round wealth creator between 2018 and 2023.
Two other Adani group companies – Adani Power and Adani Energy – also feature in the top 10 All-round Wealth Creators.
The brokerage firm defines all-round wealth creators based on the summation of ranks, under each of the 3 categories – biggest, fastest and consistent.
Where the scores are tied, the compounded growth rate in stock price decides the all-round rank.
Notably,
Gautam Adani fell from third richest in the world on January 24, 2023. He is ranked No. 23 in the world as of December 1, as per Forbes List.
In 2023, Adani added $4.41 billion to his net worth, a 30% jump to $70.2 billion.
Despite this surge, his wealth remains $50.3 billion lower than the peak in January, following challenges triggered by the
Hindenburg report.
