Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud on Thursday inaugurated the ‘Ayush Holistic Wellness Centre’ on the premises of the Supreme Court in Delhi. Recommending a holistic lifestyle to tackle the day-to-day work-related stress, he said that he practices yoga and has been following a vegan diet for the past five months.
“I practice Yoga. I woke up at 3:30 this morning to do yoga. Additionally, I have been following a vegan diet for the last five months. I am trying to focus on a holistic pattern of life, which begins with what you eat, of course, and what you put into your system,” ANI quoted CJI Chandrachud as saying.
On the occasion, an MoU was also signed between the Supreme Court and the All-India Institute of Ayurveda to establish, operationalise and provide expert services at the wellness centre.
