The bill was introduced in Rajya Sabha during the last Monsoon session. At least three Bills will be discussed in the Rajya Sabha and at least four in the Lok Sabha.
These include the Repealing and Amending Bill, 2023, which was passed in the Lok Sabha and is pending in the Rajya Sabha, and the Post Office Bill, 2023, introduced in Rajya Sabha on August 10, 2023, They will be taken up for the consideration and passage in the Rajya Sabha during the Special session.
Meanwhile, in the Lok Sabha, the listed business includes 'The Advocates (Amendment) Bill, 2023' and 'The Press and Registration of Periodicals Bill, 2023', already passed by Rajya Sabha on August 3.
