In a resolute keynote address at the News18 Rising Bharat Summit today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated India's unwavering stance against terrorism, emphasising the nation's commitment to ensuring safety and security for its citizens. Speaking on the evening of March 20, Prime Minister Modi invoked the spirit of Rising Bharat, reflecting on significant events including India's airstrikes on Balakot, Pakistan, in 2019, in retaliation to the Pulwama attack. 
The Prime Minister's address at the News18 Rising Bharat Summit held particular significance as he recalled the night of the 2019 summit, which coincided with India's action on Balakot. "You must all have wondered how a person attended this event with a calm demeanour while at the same time setting in motion the air strike," Modi said, revealing a glimpse at the burden of command.
Prime Minister Modi highlighted the transformative journey of "Rising Bharat," stressing that every citizen has experienced the nation's evolution. He emphasised the values that define this new India, emphasising that it does not tolerate terrorism in any form.
