The upcoming polls for the
Lok Sabha (the lower house of the Indian Parliament) will be held in seven phases starting April 19. The results will be declared on June 4.
Nearly
970 million people are eligible to cast vote in the upcoming polls at over 1.2 million polling stations.
West Bengal are three states where the polling will take place in all seven phases. Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are the other two.
These are the dates on which different constituencies would go to vote in West Bengal:

The party has renominated 16 sitting MPs and fielded 12 women.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released two lists for the candidates contesting the Parliamentary election. The first list had 20 names from Bengal including the likes of Locket Chatterjee, Anirban Ganguly and Rathin Chakraborty. You can check the entire
