Yes Bank board is all set to meet on Wednesday to finalise the list of potential CEO candidates to replace Rana Kapoor. Once the list is finalised, it will be sent to the Reserve Bank of India for approval.
Rana Kapoor will be stepping down as the managing director and CEO of Yes Bank on January 31, 2019.
According to sources, at least three candidates are expected to be shortlisted, of which one would be an internal candidate.
Rajat Monga, current executive director at Yes Bank is the front-runner as internal candidate while Rajesh Sud, former managing director of Max Life is in the race to be considered as one of the external CEO candidates.
