Private sector lender Yes Bank has appointment Anurag Adlakha as Group Chief Financial Officer and Raj Ahuja as Group Chief Strategy Officer.
The bank in its press release said that the appointment of Anurag Adlakha is in compliance with the RBI circular that stipulates minimum qualification of a CA for the position of bank CFO.
Adlakha, the release said, is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI), and has been the CFO for past 19 years with Standard Chartered Bank and HSBC. He will be responsible for the Finance function of the Bank and in this critical leadership role, he will be involved in driving financial performance and bringing further rigour to financial and investment decisions across the Bank and its subsidiaries.
Raj Ahuja, who served as Senior Group President in the bank will now be re-designated as Group Chief Strategy Officer and will be responsible for leading the Strategy, Planning and Projects function of the bank.
The bank, in a regulatory filing on Thursday, had said that it is in the process of appointing certain new key managerial personnel, including the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
