Country's largest lender, the State Bank of India on Wednesday conducted a mega electronic auction of commercial, retail and residential properties to recover dues and said that it will notify the successful bidders in the coming days.
The SBI had earlier taken to Twitter to announce this, saying: "Mark your calendar to participate as a bidder in the SBI Mega E-Auction that will take place on February 26, 2020. Register and get a chance to purchase properties at a much lower rate."
Bank officials said these were small retail and industrial properties whose owners were defaulting and which the SBI was selling through auction to recover the amounts.
