PM Modi launches 75 digital banking units across India — here's how they will help you

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in her budget speech for 2022-23 had announced the setting up of 75 DBUs in 75 districts of the country to commemorate the 75 years of independence of the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched 75 Digital Banking Units (DBUs) across India via video conferencing. The DBUs are being set up to ensure that the benefits of digital banking reach every nook and corner of the country and cover all states and union territories.
As a part of this announcement, several banks announced opening up of their DBUs. While Axis Bank launched 3 digital banking units, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank announced the launch of four DBUs each to offer banking services to its customers digitally.
Jana SFB is the only small finance bank selected for the launch of DBU’s in India.
