Hunt For Value: How is Q4 shaping up for large banks?

Banks are back with a bang. The best performing Index at this point of time Nifty Bank is 1.50 percent higher and the PSU Bank Index is even better, trading almost 3 percent higher.

Q3 FY21 results clearly show the difference between the large banks, midcap and smallcap banks. Largecap banks have outperformed across parameters compared to their midcap and smallcap peers.

They have also raised sufficient capital in the second quarter which has actually augured well for them in terms of making provisions.

In this Hunt For Value segment, the focus is on the large banks.
