Southwest Monsoon withdraws from multiple regions in India: IMD

As of Friday, the monsoon has retreated from the following regions: Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, and the entire state of Gujarat.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has officially announced the withdrawal of the Southwest Monsoon from several regions across India including the remaining parts of Northwest India, More parts of Central India and remaining parts of Gujarat and some parts of Maharashtra.
As of Friday, the monsoon has retreated from the following regions: Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, and the entire state of Gujarat.
Additionally, it has also withdrawn from some parts of East Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan, and the entire North Arabian Sea. Furthermore, it has retreated from some areas in the Central Arabian Sea.
