The first episode of
Koffee With Karan Season 8 premiered on October 26. The show was all things love. From Deepika opening up about mental health to Ranveer narrating the dreamy proposal, the power couple gave us primary goals. And, the major highlight was
their wedding video that was shown for the first time.
Deepika and Ranveer got married in 2018 in Lake Combo, Italy. The wedding was an intimate affair with only friends and family in attendance. They got married as per Konkani and Sindhi rituals.
The wedding clip opens with Ranveer expressing his love for Deepika, followed by their first dance as a couple. From the
Mehendi ceremony to Ranveer wanting to see his bride before
pheras, the clip screamed love and only love.
After the episode was aired on the streaming channel, the official wedding videographer,
Vishal Punjabi, shared the clip on Instagram. He also shared a back story. “During the filming of
Kabira for
Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani, I had the honour of directing her. On a crisp evening, amidst rounds of Pictionary by the poolside with the crew, she leaned in and said softly, “When the time comes for my wedding, I’d be honoured if you would be the one to capture it.”
The wedding video is one of the top trends on social media. Fans can’t keep calm.
A user wrote, “Ahhhhhh soo sooo beautiful!!!”
Another added, “I’ve waited 5 years for this.”

Deepika and Ranveer have featured in Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. The couple has also shared the screen in Kabir Khan's sports drama 83.
Besides Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in the first episode, the season is expected to feature Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Kajol, Sunny Deol, Suhana Khan, Ananya Panday among others.
