But Ajay's intentions for marriage are not based on love, he wants to climb up the local social ladder. However, things don't go as planned! Maurh is a Punjabi language biographical drama directed by Jatinder Mauhar. The story is set in pre-partition colonial Punjab and revolves around the lives of two brothers, Jeona and Kishna Maurh. These brave brothers become symbols of hope for the poor people who suffer under cruel zamindars and British rulers. When their family faces humiliation, Kishna Maurh decides to join the bandits to fight against the native kings and the British oppressors.
