Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has been ranked among the top 250 colleges in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2024 for Global Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
IIM Bangalore is placed 48th globally and is the leading B-school in India, moving up from its 2023 ranking of 50.
IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta have been ranked in the 53rd and 59th, respectively. The top position on the list is held by Stanford GSB's MBA programme, followed by The Wharton School and Harvard Business School.
Furthermore, 10 Indian MBA colleges have secured positions among the top 250 institutes in Asia, reflecting the strong presence of Indian business education on the global stage.
IIM Bangalore's accomplishments extend further as it secures the 39th spot globally and ranks fourth in Asia for employability. This achievement is accompanied by IIM Calcutta's 46th global ranking, securing the seventh position in Asia.
In addition, IIM Ahmedabad and the Indian School of Business (ISB) have garnered recognition for entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes, both featuring among the world's top 50 institutions.
IIM Bangalore has particularly excelled in the return on investment category, standing as the sole Indian MBA among the top 50, securing the 31st position. Furthermore, it leads on the national front in thought leadership, holding the 57th position globally.

QS World University Rankings also encompass specialised business master's programmes, including master's in management, finance, business analytics, marketing, and supply chain management. IIM Bangalore takes the lead as India's best Master in Management, ranking 31st globally, largely due to its exceptional alumni outcomes, where it ranks 10th.
IIM Calcutta, on the other hand, features among the top 100 for India's best Master in Business Analytics, securing the 61-70 band for this programme. IIM Udaipur also makes its presence felt, securing the 51+ position for its master's in supply chain management programme.
