The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday released the examination schedule for different entrance exams to be conducted in the academic year of 2024-25. Candidates who are preparing to appear for these entrance exams can check the details on the official website of NTA at nta.ac.in.
As per the official notification, the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main) is going to be conducted in two sessions. Session 1 is scheduled to be held between January 24 and February 1, 2024. and JEE Main Session 2 will be conducted between April 1 and April 15, 2024. Both the sessions of JEE Main will be conducted via Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Undergraduate (NEET UG) examination has been slated to be conducted on May 5, 2024. As per the NTA notification, the
NEET UG exam will be held in Pen and Paper or Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) mode.
The Common University Entrance Test- Undergraduate
(CUET UG) examination is scheduled to take place between May 15, 2024, and May 31, 2024. The examinations will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT). The Common University Entrance Test- Postgraduate (CUET PG) examination will be conducted between March 11 and March 28, next year. Similar to the CUET UG exam, CUET PG 2024 exams will also be conducted in CBT mode.
Apart from these, the University Grants Commission- National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) Session 1 exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode between June 10, 2024 and June 21, 2024.
The official notification also said that the specific details regarding the examination will be intimated to the candidates through the Information Bulletin of the respective examination. These bulletins will be shared during the time of the release of registration forms for the examinations.
Along with this, NTA also informed that the results of all the Computer Based Test (CBT) examinations will be announced within three weeks after the respective exams. However, for the NEET UG 2024, the results will be released by the second week of June 2024. The result declaration of NEET UG 2024 will take time as the exams for the same have been scheduled to be conducted through Pen and Paper or OMR mode.
