As India begins to pave the path for economic resurgence, CNBC-TV18's 16th edition of the India Business Leader Awards (IBLA) honours the business leaders who got going when it wasn't easy.
The theme for this IBLA is "Paving the path for India's economic resurgence". Speaking at the special virtual townhall finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman weighed in on the issue and said that the government expects the Indian private sector to set the pace for India's revival.
"In the Budget government has laid a landscape. Now we want the Indian private sector to set the pace for India's revival. That is not to say that the government doesn't want to do anything more. On the contrary, the government wants to run the relay race with the private sector."
