Ogilvy appoints Piyush Pandey as its new global chief creative officer

Ogilvy appoints Piyush Pandey as its new global chief creative officer (CCO) effective January 1.

The position had been lying vacant since Tham Khai Meng was dismissed in July. Pandey currently serves as executive chairman and creative director of Ogilvy South Asia.

He will retain his current responsibilities even after he takes charge as global CCO.

Pandey has been associated with Ogilvy since 1982. The adman is known for some memorable campaigns - Cadbury, Luna Moped and Fevicol.

He is the recipient of 2018 lion of st mark along with brother Prasoon Pandey. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2016.
