Government asks ministries to strictly adhere to the revised monthly spend plan

The finance ministry has directed ministries to cut down on expenditures incurred by them in the first quarter. It has told ministries to strictly adhere to the revised monthly and quarterly spend plans, and said that any deviation will need prior approval from the finance ministry.
