LIC Mutual Fund appoints Ravi Kumar Jha as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

LIC Mutual Fund Asset Management Limited has announced the appointment of Ravi Kumar Jha as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer with effect from January 31. 2024.

Jha, with a distinguished career and prior association with LIC, comes with a track record of over 30 years in handling diverse positions and he was serving as Executive Director - Corporate Strategy till December 2023, LIC Mutual Fund said.

His previous roles include Executive Director Corporate Strategy – LIC Mutual Fund Asset Management and various positions at LIC of India.

Jha (57) holds a bachelor’s degree (Hons.) in Commerce from Ranchi University.

Commenting on his appointment, Ravi Kumar Jha said, “My goal is to expand our presence across different regions and reinforce our position in the current market with an endeavour to serve esteemed investors and customers as a trusted partner in wealth creation and a mutual fund of choice.
