Struggling carrier Jet Airways will report its second-quarter results, which could be one of its worst earnings in its lifetime.
  • If  Jet Airways reports loss this time then it will be the third consecutive quarter of quarterly loss.

  • The stock has pummeled and is down 70 percent in 2018. It has been a double whammy for Jet Airways; the higher crude prices and the weaker rupee has impacted the profitability and that is the expectation this quarter around as well.
  • In fact, not just the operational weakness but even the topline will slow down this time. So expecting the revenues to fall by about 8 percent.
  • Passenger traffic has been slow this time; it’s expected to be 3 percent in year-on-year basis because of seasonal weakness.
