DGCA Summer Schedule 2024: 6% increase in domestic and 2% jump in international flights

There is an increase of around 6% to 24,275 domestic departures from 125 airports in comparison to the Summer Schedule 2023, which had 22,907 weekly departures per week from 119 airports.

In summer 2024, the Indian aviation industry will witness a higher number of domestic and international flights as per the Summer Schedule 2024 released by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). According to the schedule released by the civil aviation regulator, there will be 24,275 domestic departures to and from 125 airports. 
There is an increase of around 6% in comparison to the Summer Schedule 2023, which had 22,907 weekly departures per week from 119 airports. 
Azamgarh, Aligarh, Chitrakoot, Gondia, Jalgaon, Moradabad and Pithoragarh are the new airports proposed by the scheduled airlines for domestic flights.
