The Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) has announced the postponement of the beginning of international operations at Terminal 2. Originally slated for today, August 31, the launch of international operations has been delayed to ensure a seamless transition for passengers, BIAL said in an official statement on Wednesday.
The decision to delay the commencement of international operations at Terminal 2 of Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru was made during the final preparedness review. BIAL officials stressed their commitment to providing optimal service and convenience to passengers, citing the need for further coordination and readiness before the transition. As a result, international flights will continue to operate from Terminal 1 until a new transition date is finalised.
“We regret the inconvenience caused by this decision and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work towards creating the best possible travel experience for our passengers,” BIAL said.
