Air India's limited-time sale offers up to 35% off on business class to select destinations

Air India has launched a sale with special tickets to and from South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. This limited-time special provides Business Class tickets at rates up to 35% lower than typical base fares.

The airline announced that flights to and from Singapore, Bangkok, Phuket, Dhaka, Colombo, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Jeddah, Bahrain, Muscat, and Kuwait are all eligible for special pricing.

Reservations made during the sale are available for travel until September 30, 2024, and will close on April 2, 2024. Sale deals are available for one-way and round-trip travel, with points of sale throughout India and abroad.

The press release does, however, also state that there is only a limited number of seats available and that they are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

A sample of reduced base rates, excluding taxes and surcharges, is provided below (partial listing only):

One-way base fare is ₹ 35,245 and the round-trip base fare is ₹52,067

Dubai-Delhi – The one-way base fare is AED 1828 and the round-trip base fare is AED 3209

Delhi-Doha – The one-way base fare is ₹29,374 and the round-trip base fare is ₹57,951

Doha-Delhi – The one-way base fare is QAR 1463 and the round-trip base fare is QAR 2308

Delhi-Bangkok – The one-way base fare is ₹25,320 and the round-trip base fare is ₹41,027

Bangkok-Delhi – The one-way base fare is THB 12526 and the round-trip base fare is THB 24304

Delhi-Singapore – The one-way base fare is ₹31,042 and the round-trip base fare is ₹53,954

Singapore-Delhi – The one-way base fare is SGD 1009 and the round-trip base fare is SGD 1577

All platforms, including the Air India website (www.airindia.com), the mobile app, airport ticket offices, and city booking offices, are offering the deal. Online travel agencies (OTAs) and other approved travel partners also offer the sale pricing.

Air India, meanwhile, began providing self-service check-in and self-baggage drop services on March 20 for travellers departing from Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru for San Francisco.

Currently, Air India uses the facility for its domestic flights out of the airport; plans are in place to expand this service to Singapore and Male, the airline's other two international destinations from Bengaluru.
