Swedish auto giant Volvo Cars has announced that it will become the first company to assemble plug-in hybrids in India. The company officials said on Thursday that the company aims to locally assemble plug-in hybrid variant of its premium SUV XC 90 in India from next year.
The company also announced that all its cars to be produced from next year will be either of mild hybrid or plug-in hybrid variant.
