Minda Industries reported a loss in the first quarter as the extended lockdown and low demand hit earnings. Sunil Bohra, group CFO of the company spoke at length about the results and gave his outlook for the future.
He said that a pick-up in personal mobility has created demand.
“People are trying to avoid shared mobility or public transport and that is creating demand in 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler,” he added.
Bohra further said that two-wheeler demand is at 80-90 percent of last year.
On the business front, he said we are getting into LPDC technology and it should be up and running in the next 10-12 months.
