Hero MotoCorp, one of the leading two-wheeler manufacturers around the world, recently unveiled its latest offering,
Mavrick 440, at the Hero World 2024 event. The company opened the bookings for its flagship motorcycle on Wednesday, February 14.
Interested customers can book the
Mavrick 440 either at Hero MotoCorp customer outlets or through the official website at heromotocorp.com. The deliveries to customers will commence in April.
Mavrick 440 is available in three variants – Base, Mid, and Top – and is priced between ₹1.99 lakh- ₹2.24 lakh (ex-showroom).
The flagship motorcycle marks Hero MotoCorp’s entry into the middle-weight segment, which is currently dominated by Royal Enfield, with others like Triumph Speed 400 and Harley-Davidson X440 also eyeing the segment.
Customers booking the
Mavrick 440 motorcycle before March 15 will also become a part of the special "Welcome to Mavrick Club Offer," wherein they receive a customised 'Mavrick Kit' of accessories and merchandise worth around ₹10,000.

Hero MotoCorp's Mavrick 440 comes in three variants, each catering to different preferences and budgets:

Base Variant: Priced at ₹1.99 lakh, the base variant offers simplicity and functionality. It features spoked wheels and is available in white colour. Mavrick mid/.Hero motocorp

The heart of the Mavrick 440 is a robust 440cc, single-cylinder engine, which churns out 26hp at 6,000rpm and a torque of 36Nm at 4,000rpm. According to reports, 90% of this torque is available from as low as 2,000 rpm.
Further, it boasts a 6-speed gearbox equipped with a slip-and-assist clutch, ensuring smooth gear changes and efficient power delivery.
Mavrick 440 shares its main frame with the Harley X440, however, it has a simpler 43mm telescopic fork at the front. The motorcycle has a ground clearance of 175mm and rides on 17-inch wheels both front and rear.
Hero Mavrick 440 vs Triumph Speed 400
Priced at ₹2.33 lakh (ex-showroom), the Triumph Speed 400 comes in a single variant and has three colours. The motorcycle is powered by a 398.15cc BS6 engine that develops 39.5 bhp and a torque of 37.5 Nm. Further, the motorcycle boasts both front and rear disc brakes and has an anti-locking braking system.
