India is slated to host the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 from January 17 to 22 at three locations in the National Capital Region (NCR): Yashobhoomi, Bharat Mandapam and the India Expo Centre and Mart.
Explaining the rationale behind declaring the dates nearly 10 months in advance, Joint Secretary with the Department of Commerce, Vipul Bansal, pointed out that the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 was organised within 3 months of the idea being conceived, and the industry had suggested that the event could've been scaled up in a bigger way with more time to prepare.
Bansal told CNBC-TV18 that more time would allow the event to be better placed in global calendars, as there are similar auto industry-related shows going on across the world throughout the year. While terming Bharat Mobility 2024 a success, he explained that blocking dates in advance will alert the global value chain and potentially attract more products and global buyers.
