IPL Auction 2024 Highlights: Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins become most expensive signings in the league's history

We are done for the day. After 8 hours of bidding, all teams have got the players that they wanted! Now we look ahead for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.

The next player up for auction is Afghan spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman at a base price of Rs. 2 cr. KKR get the spinner at the base price.

The next player up for auction is NZ’s Lockie Ferguson at a base price of Rs. 2.00 cr. RCB bid for Ferguson and they face no competition and get the New Zealand fast bowler at his base price.

Punjab Kings try hard and take the bid value for Rilee Rossouw to Rs. 8.00 cr. No further bids from Delhi Capitals and Rilee Rossouw becomes a DC player at Rs. 8.00 cr.

Prince Choudhary becomes a Punjab Kings player for Rs. 20 lakh.

Sakib Hussain, Mohammed Kaif, Abhilash Shetty, Gurjapneet Singh, Prithvi Raj Yarra and Shubham Agrawal all go unsold.

The next 2 players up for sale are Bipin Saurabh and K. M. Asif. Both get no bids. They remain unsold.

The next player up for auction is Robin Minz. is base price is Rs. 20 lakh. MI and CSK battle hard to get Minz. They keep bidding before CSK pull out of the race. Then MI fight hard with GT for Minz. SRH also join the fray. Finally it is GT who get Robin Minz for Rs. 3.60 cr.

Punjab Kings keep buying players in this round as Tanay Thyagarajann also joins the team again for Rs. 20 lakh.

Shashank Singh becomes the third player to join Punjab Kings again at Rs. 20 lakh.

The next player also joins the Punjab Kings ranks as Vishwanath Pratap Singh  is sold to the team again at Rs. 20 lakh.
