Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan on Monday said 'House of Pataudi'
is aiming Rs 300 crore revenue in three years from the launch of ethnic brand, which is is co-owned by Flipkart's fashion arm Myntra and Exceed Entertainment.

In an interview to CNBC-TV18's Farah Bookwala Vhora, Khan said he had on his my mind to contribute something creative in terms of clothes, whether it's family history or generally.
Myntra-Jabong, chief executive officer, Ananth Narayanan, said, "The market is enormous. Ethnic wear is Rs 70,000 crore in this country today and is still growing at 9 percent. About 70 percent of it will be unorganised and 30 percent will be organised. The organised is growing 30 percent year on year. Incidentally, men are only 10 percent of the overall number.”
"So if you look at Myntra and Jabong, we find that there are lot of searches for ethnic wear. But there are not that many collections and not that many branded players. So, we saw a market opportunity here. I believe with this partnership, over a three year period, we can create no 1 and 2 ethnic brand in the entire country in terms of brand,” said Narayanan.
On the price front, he said the women’s collection will be from Rs 2,000 to Rs 20,000, while the men collection will range from Rs 1,500 to Rs 15,000. So, there will be everyday wear, festive wear, wedding wear and special Pataudi collection.
