Nilesh Gupta, managing partner of Vijay Sales, and B Thiagarajan, joint MD of Blue Star, spoke to CNBC-TV18 about the festive season demand.

Thiagarajan said that the festive season demand will be reasonably good.
"We are hopeful of 10 percent sales growth this festive season. We think air conditioner (AC) industry will grow 5 percent in FY19 versus earlier estimate of 10 percent," said Thiagarajan.
Talking about the price hike, he said, “We have increased the price from October 1st but big dealers do manage to get some quantity discounts so that the consumer is not impacted.”
