Shares of Sarda Energy and Minerals are trading with gains of over 13% on Friday, marking their biggest single-day gain since June 2021.

The US FDA inspected the company’s Hyderabad unit from March 18 to 22.

Welspun Corp on Friday, March 22 said it has bagged line pipe orders, both in India and the US, cumulatively valued at ₹2,039 crore since its last disclosure on February 6, 2024.

In a stock exchange filing, the company said the new orders in the US not only ascertain its business continuity till the second quarter of financial year 2025, but also reaffirms its dominant position in the US onshore gas transmission sector.

Brokerage firm CLSA believes that the recent correction seen in Amber Enterprises is a good buying opportunity and upgraded the stock to “buy” from its earlier rating of “accumulate.”

CLSA also raised its price target on Amber Enterprises to ₹4,300 from ₹4,130 earlier.

Bajaj Auto shares crossed the Rs 9,000 apiece mark in trade today.

The stock has gained 5.76% in the past month, 79.71% in the last six months and 129.06% in the past year.

The Nifty 50 index still has to fall another 5% to 7% from current levels before it manages to find a floor for itself, Laurence Balanco of CLSA told CNBC-TV18 in an interaction.

“Our best case is that as this current correction unfolds down to the 200 day moving average and that’s basically around the 20,200, it will be slightly grinding higher, even if we run through this correction. So we’re looking at about 20,200 to 20,300,” Balanco said.
