Cautious on disbursements in Q4 due to general elections, says Srei Infra

Srei Infra is under pressure in trade today on the back of a weak quarterly results. Hemant Kanoria, CMD of SREI Infra, spoke to CNBC-TV18 about the company's financial performance and growth outlook.

Kanoria said, "With the market becoming topsy-turvy because of the NBFCs crisis, the company decided to conserve cash to keep things stable and so disbursements were lower in Q3. Therefore, the profits got impacted".

“What was more important for the last quarter as a strategy for us was to have enough liquidity, not only to meet the liabilities that were coming in, which we were comfortable with but also for the future,” Kanoria said in an interview with CNBC-TV18.
