Reliance Foundation Hospital on Monday received a threat call against Reliance Industries Limited Chairperson Mukesh Ambani and his family. One person was detained in connection with the incident. He was reportedly nabbed from Dahisar area in Mumbai.

According to CNN-News18, officials said a 56-year-old man named Vishnu Bhowmik was detained from Dahisar suburb of Mumbai. The suspect has reportedly been taken to DB Marg Police Station.
In a statement, Dr Tarang Gianchandani, CEO, HN Reliance Hospital, said the calls were received soon after flag-hoisting ceremony at the hospital.
“As we concluded our flag hoisting ceremony at the hospital, that is when we got eight to nine calls from the same caller threatening our chairman between 10:45am till 12 noon. Right after, Mumbai police was alerted, FIR is being lodged and the team has begun investigations to understand further details of the caller,” the statement said.
Earlier, reports said a total of eight calls were made to the hospital situated in Girgaon area around 10.30 am. The unknown caller said that he is the number one terrorist and allegedly abused the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Anti-Terror Squad (ATS), and Mumbai Police along with threats to the Ambani family.
Hospital authorities had then filed a formal complaint at DB Marg Police station against the unknown caller.
After receiving information about the calls, the Mumbai police initiated a probe into it. A preliminary enquiry suggested the caller was mentally unstable, PTI quoted an official as saying. A process was on to register an first information report (FIR) in this connection, he added.
The report said that Ambani's security cover has been increased. The Mumbai Police is set to increase the security cover outside Antilia as well.
