Passengers of full-service airline Vistara can occasionally provide feedback to chefs on board about a new menu that was introduced on Tuesday across all flights.
Vistara, a joint venture between the Tatas and Singapore Airlines, launched the initiative named Chef on-Board partnering its caterers Taj SATS, the airline said in a statement.
Taj SATS culinary head Rajeev Bansal was on board two flights from Mumbai to Delhi and back to seek feedback from customers in the business and premium economy class seats, it said, adding that Bansal will be available periodically on select flights.
Sanjiv Kapoor, chief strategy and commercial officer, Vistara said the new menu features Indian, Asian, and Continental dishes, "With Chef on-Board, we want to ensure that we get feedback directly from our customers to help us make the Vistara dining experience even more fulfilling and memorable.”
Vistara, which operates 730 flights a week to 22 destinations with 20 Airbus A320 planes, is preparing to launch international flights.
